Never Alone is a true story. It records the life of a man who has experienced a lot of things in a short amount of time. Even to the extent of coming face to face with his own death certificate. It will leave the reader inspired and even challenged that no matter where they have been in life or what they have been through they are Never Alone! Divine moments are woven into each of our lives. We all have a purpose and it’s never too late to start living in it!
Juan Canales was born in Honduras and immigrated to the United States when he was 5 years old. A victim of mental and physical abuse, at 8 years old, Juan was abandoned on the streets of Los Angeles, California. After living on the streets for almost a year he was reunited with his family, however the mental and physical abuse continued. Juan lived in L.A. for 10 years before his family moved across the country to Indianapolis, IN. It was there that Juan turned himself into immigration officials, initiating a risky legal battle that could have sent him back to a country he never knew.
It was also in Indianapolis where Juan Canales would experience his Turning Point; giving him the strength and the capacity to deal with his past, even after the discovery that he had been reported dead and had been issued a death certificate from Honduran authorities. Juan has a passion to help men, both young and old, understand the importance of their role, not only in their families, but also in the church and in the communities they call home. Juan lives with his wife, Liz, and their 5 children in Indianapolis, IN.
